Ideal for prototyping or for final products

150 Ohms is good for LEDs.

1 KOhms is good for limiting current to inputs.

10 KOhms is good for pull-up or pull-down resistors.

Here’s a reminder of the colour codes for resistors

Remember Watts = Voltage x Current
or
Watts / Voltage = Current
e.g.
0.25 Watts / 5 Volts = 0.05 amps or 50 milliamps.
0.25 Watts / 3.3 Volts = 0.076 amps or 75.7 milliamps
0.25 Watts / 12 volts = 0.020 amps or 20.8 milliamps
